Got this e-mail.
Nate Silver's FiveThirtyEight and CNBC are both calling me the most vulnerable senator up for reelection in 2020. And Mitch McConnell-linked groups are already targeting ads against me: They know that what happens in Alabama determines Democrats' path to flipping the Senate blue.
If we don't defend this seat, Democrats' chances of taking back the Senate become virtually nonexistent. And far-right Republicans will spend untold millions to flip this seat red and prop up a rubber stamp for their divisive agenda.
Winning in Alabama could make the difference between taking back the Senate for Democrats and protecting our health care and the future of our courts or giving ultraconservatives a blank slate to pass their corrupt agenda. But right now this must-win race is a toss-up and I'm falling dangerously short of my end-of-month goal with only hours left: Please, will you give $50 to help me keep Alabama blue and take back the Senate for Democrats?
