Washington (CNN)The Justice Department on Friday released a transcript of a call from Donald Trump's attorney John Dowd to Rob Kelner, the lawyer for Trump's former national security adviser Michael Flynn, where he sought information about Flynn's discussions with the special counsel.
However, the Justice Department refused to turn over transcripts of Flynn's calls with Russian officials, including then-Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak, as was expected after Judge Emmet Sullivan ordered prosecutors to file those publicly.
The transcript was submitted to a federal court in Washington following a judge's order to submit it.

Senate GOP vows to quickly quash any impeachment charges
BY ALEXANDER BOLTON
GOP senators say that if the House passes articles of impeachment against President Trump they will quickly quash them in the Senate, where Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) has broad authority to set the parameters of a trial.
While McConnell is required to act on articles of impeachment, which require 67 votes or a two-thirds majority to convict the president, he and his Republican colleagues have the power to set the rules and ensure the briefest of trials.
I think it would be disposed of very quickly, said Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.). https://thehill.com/homenews/senate/445512-senate-gop-pledges-to-quickly-quash-any-trump-impeachment-charges
Pelosi and other Democrats in the House of Representatives know what they are doing, as Trump continues to dig his own grave!
on edit: Also a failed impeachment would consolidate Trump's voter base. You know what that means, correct? "Poor Trump being bullied and railroaded by those nasty, tree-hugging Democrats" etc.

They don't just get to arbitrarily countermand the court and say that they don't believe they need to hand over other recording transcripts involving Flynn. Neener, neener, neener!
DOJ heads will be handed out in this one.

The refusal was a response to U.S. District Judge Emmet G. Sullivan, who ordered earlier this month that the Justice Department release several materials related to the case against Flynn, who was President Donald Trumps campaign adviser and his national security adviser until being ousted for lying about his contacts with the Russians.
In their refusal, the federal prosecutors said they hadnt used those recordings of Flynns conversations to establish his guilt or recommend a sentencing.
The government further represents that it is not relying on any other recordings, of any person, for purposes of establishing the defendants guilt or determining his sentence, nor are there other recordings that are part of the sentencing record, the court filings lone statement on the request read.

If you had read the complete news article, you would have seen this paragraph:
"Overall, the voice mail highlights a call that special counsel Robert Mueller investigated as potential obstruction of justice by the President. Dowd had made the call on November 22, 2017, after Flynn's team said it could no longer communicate with the White House, just before Flynn pleaded guilty and agreed to cooperate in Mueller's investigation."
