But an upcoming version might be most dramatic of them all.
Beginning Saturday night and running through Sunday, the theater companies New Neighborhood and Slightly Altered States, along with the arts and media company DMNDR, will host a 24-hour public reading of the Mueller report in Queens. Filibustered and Unfiltered: America Reads the Mueller Report will take place at the Arc, a Long Island City venue.
The director Jackson Gay conceived the project, which started as her half-serious Facebook post but has grown into an event with over 100 volunteer readers. Participants are scheduled to include the theater directors Anne Kauffman, Leigh Silverman and Annie Dorsen; Oskar Eustis, the artistic director of the Public Theater; the actor Michael Urie; and the playwrights and performers Taylor Mac and Eisa Davis. Macs own marathon show, A 24-Decade History of Popular Music, became a 24-hour-long must-see in 2016.
Ms. Gay said musicians will play during some portions of the report that have been redacted. Yet despite the music, and the heavy participation of theater-world figures, the intention isnt to dramatize, she added.
Its not meant to be a performance, she explained. Its meant to be a bunch of people coming together and finding their voice. We shouldnt just sit back on our couches and let other people tell us what to think.

(4,878 posts)Audible will give you a free 30-day trial and any books you download you'll have access to after the free trial if you decide not to pay (I think $14.95/month).
I'm embedding the tweet below, which has at link to download the free Mueller Report via Audible for those interested.

(4,546 posts)in the format you choose (you can have it on multiple devices). I think you will need an Amazon account for this, but I didn't see anything about having to be a Prime member (although I am). Log in (or create an account? Mine is already set up, so not sure). Bypass the screen wanting you to sign up for the Audible trial by accessing the menu (three lines). Go to search, search for Mueller Report. It will come up as a free download. There's no nag screens to start a free trial. Then go to your Library and click to download. I just did this.
There's a Kindle version (also did not say Prime) for 99 cents. It works the same way: download, go to Library, click to download. Hope that helps!

(4,546 posts)There's a Kindle version for 99 cents. There are some cheap paperback versions, too. I prefer holding it in my hands to read, so a bound book version seems nice to me. And better than printing it myself. I didn't buy a paperback. I downloaded both the Audible and the Kindle versions, though, so will see how that goes. (I downloaded the free PDF version when it first came out, but have found it difficult to read... my eyes aren't as good as they once were). Anyhow, I'm fine with paying a few bucks to have it in a better format.
