@chuckwoolery
Does not matter if it took 400+ pages or 4 pages. The conclusion is the same. Simply put in two words. NOT QUILTY. Accept it or not.

(2,187 posts)I won't watch him again, ever. Same with Clint Eastwood, Susan Sarandon, Scott Baio, Pamela Anderson, Kid Rock, Ted Nugent, etc., because their politics and their statements churn my stomach and sicken me. That's a switch that will NEVER be flipped on again. Oh well, no loss really.

(18,837 posts)It's tough to fully articulate why I feel that way, and I don't want to write a book about it in my response to you, so I'll just say that he seems more narrowly focused on his "beliefs" about Trump than the others. Yes, they all proudly wear their MAGAt hats. I just get the sense that if you pulled Chuck aside, away from microphones and cameras, he'd be every bit as angry and unyielding as his public persona. I don't know these people, I'm just speaking from the gut. And yes, Nugent is loathsome swine for a multitude of reasons that have nothing to do with Trump. Baio's a fanboy, he's starstruck. Chuck seems to operate in perpetual darkness.

(2,916 posts)I feel the same way. I forget what he said on the show, where he was on with his then wife Jo Ann Pflug (I read they divorced a year or so after the episode I saw), but it struck me wrong and made me feel like he was probably a shitty human being behind closed doors. Gut feeling about him, so maybe I'm wrong, but who knows.

(2,187 posts)....and while doing so, she cut down the U.S., the UK, and Ecuador. She was also married to asswipe Kid Rock, so I'll bet they have quite a few mutual beliefs = all equals Pamela is a jerk.

(57,275 posts)when alone but I don't think anyone suspects he has a hidden intellect. He once said that no Presidential children were as badly treated as W's daughters. I reminded him of how Chelsea Clinton and Amy Carter were treated and he actually admitted that really happened.
Then again in the club bar fifteen minutes later he was probably back at the poor W kids.

(7,650 posts)Several years ago, I called him out on a grammar error he made on Twitter. He blocked me shortly thereafter and the block remains in place.
I imagine that, if he were still in his home state of Kentucky, he would be an avid supporter of McTurtle.
