It's possible that a marginally legitimate 2020 election can overthrow the dictatorship, but let's all remember that Trumpy has control over the elections, with the help of Mr. Putin. So all bets are off for next year's election. We are NOT in good Constitutional shape.

AG Barr has ignored a Congressional subpoena and ignored a legitimate Court Order. He's committing felonies in plain sight. Trumpy is ignoring Congress as a Constitutionally-protected entity with oversight responsibilities. Every day that passes reinforces the fact that Trumpy is above the law and will NOT accept being subjected to the Rule of Law. Trumpy is making executive decisions that, by law, are Congress' responsibility. He's simply overriding both the Judicial and Legislative Branches. Functionally, he's above the law RIGHT NOW. And, except for a massive response by a currently and fundamentally uneducated and disinterested public, he'll remain above the law.

Only one half of Congress is providing any kind of oversight, but they are terribly weakened by opposition from Trumpy and the GOP. Oversight decisions take weeks to execute, if at all. The perception in the public is that the Dems in the House are slow to respond and hesitant to confront. That perception is based on reality. That's the way it is, right now.

Okay. I'm adding text because I'm somewhat cavalier about the "coup". I'm cavalier because it appears that no one is seriously viewing Trumpy's coup as based in reality.
