Havent gotten to see Amanda play a single point yet. Halep not my favorite, so great win.
I see Ash Barty took out Keys...Ash was my sleeper pick to win the Open, but I wish she had been playing Konta instead of Maddie.

(269,004 posts)Halep is a lovely player in terms of her attitude to the game, but she is too inconsistent to be called a great one.
Ash can win this but who knows with these young women.
Amanda really has a decent game - and she has guts.
