All things considered, I think ascending to the presidency is the least of Mme Speaker's worries.

But I would think she would need to avoid looking like she wants to take the job away from him, whether she does or not.
I think its a wise move.

She is taking a lot of criticism for saying Trump should be in jail. She is being accused of doing what Republicans did, chanting lock her up.
If Trump is guilty and deserves prison it looks bad not to impeach him.
