is it ok to cross post links to primary threads in other forums?

i just posted a tweet about mining in the boundary waters and amy klobachar.
i would like to cross-post it in e&e, as i have questions.

that would be ok, right?
lots of people dont venture into gdp.

Lots of topics aren't necessarily limited to a certain candidate and need better coverage and a broader discussion. Just because a candidate's name is mentioned should not lock so many threads in a restricted forum. Cross post, please.
