Benefiting from the displacement of people because of climate change needs to be considered genocide

All this talk about new sea lanes in the arctic, especially from people who used to deny that climate change even existed are forgetting one thing... that the arctic isn't some wasteland, it's an ecosystem; complete with plants, animals, and yes, people.

Maybe the only real way to fight climate change would be to prosecute people who would benefit from it...

If there's now a sea port where there was once a village, the government that built that port needs to be held accountable.

If people can't fish or hunt now, someone needs to explain on the world stage why that can't happen.

If climate change causes a tribe or ethnic group's numbers to start dwindling, it needs to be called out as ethnic cleansing.

Start prosecuting climate change-linked crimes against humanity now before it really gets going.
