If you want to know why the orange child threatened Mexico with a tariff war then reneged faster than a speeding bullet you only have to look for those who turned a quick profit. Mexico agreed to the terms long before the orange menace threatened them.

The whole thing was cooked up to make someone huge profits. I'd like to see the House look into it.

Then he comes back and miraculously "fixes" the problem. Except it was never a problem if he had just left it alone.

So if you're saying he also profited in the stock market, that's not politics, it's a crime called insider trading. Should be looked into by SEC authorities.

As a private "business(con)man" Trump would threaten to take over another business. He'd buy their stock, make the threat, sell the stock that had gone up, then drop the threat to buy. He only got away with this a few times before the investors in New York figured out he was all hot air and quit playing the game with him.

Now, with his lard butt in the Oval Office, he's using the same tactic to jerk the world around. Unfortunately, the investors of today know damn well he has the power to screw the world and cannot ignore his probably empty threats. So now he can make money even when no one really believes him because they know he can fuck with things to get his way.
