Trump on Sunday ripped Democrats ahead of testimony from John Dean, a former White House counsel for President Nixon who proved pivotal during the Watergate scandal.
"The Dems were devastated - after all this time and money spent ($40,000,000), the Mueller Report was a disaster for them," Trump tweeted Sunday evening.
"But they want a Redo, or Do Over. They are even bringing in @CNN sleazebag attorney John Dean. Sorry, no Do Overs - Go back to work!"

Dean, a CNN contributor, was connected to the Watergate cover-up and delivered televised testimony before lawmakers that helped lead to Nixons resignation.
Democrats in the House Judiciary Committee will grill Dean on Monday in an attempt to to shine a spotlight on the unsavory details about Trumps conduct contained in special counsel Robert Muellers report.
Dean has been a vocal critic of Trump's, arguing the president engaged in obstruction based on what is described in Muellers report.

(15,805 posts)He should be yelling at Senate Republicans to, "Go back to work," and actually vote on some of bills that Pelosi has already sent over.
House has taken up 51 bills, resolutions, and suspensions since January 49 of which theyve passed.

(15,286 posts)There are a lot of similaries between Nixon during Watergate and Trump now. With the right questioning, Dean should be able to get these parallels out. It's hard to believe Dean will turn 81 this year, too.
