Joyce Vance, Barb McQuade and Dean have done a nice job showing Heritage Found. lacky, Malcolm

(John Malcolm) for the bullshitter (like Barr) that he is. He comes out looking really bad, IMO.

BTW, he is responsible for Kavanagh being nominated.

For those who didn't see the hearings this afternoon, please see the FULL video below. John Dean was great, but my biggest congrats and praise has to go to Barbara McQuade and Joyce White Vance--two former Federal prosecutors (now law professors) whose experience, concise answers, preparedness and surgical dissection of the Republican's attempts at "gotcha questions" were both just phenomenal.

I thought they were a great choice (though I have great love and respect for the likes of Laurence Tribe, Norm Eisen, Neal Katyal and others), but I honestly don't think anyone could have done better than these incredibly competent women!

They did an amazing job of getting important info about Trump's obstruction out there.

And not for nothing, but this is one of the reasons why the SC won't allow cameras in; audio only ...

Because they knew if they did, most of the respect, decourm, and FEAR that lawyers have for the court as in institution would be out the window, and lawyers would get up there and grandstand for the cameras. Congress should start taking seriously it's own rules of decourm and professionalism , and start slapping it's own members with censure and contempt citations for doing shit like Lindsey did during the Kavanaugh sessions...
And there SHOULD be real penalties for that nonsense ...if I get three write-ups at work, I get fired and won't be ALLOWED to com back heh...

Just my two cents, and yes, I understand that Republicans would weaponize the everliving fuck out of it for their own benefit , so please don't yell at me lol...

Pedantic, obnoxious, condescending, smug throughout just like the rest of the Heritage/Federalist/Koch legal product (from Thomas to Kavanaugh)

Granted that was only possible because we hold the majority, but boy was it nice to see us use our power wisely.

If they KNOW he should go, and don't vote for it, the base won't be big enough to save them .
If they vote to remove , I guarantee Trump will mail all the dirt he has on them to the fake news as revenge.

Welp,...not my circius, not my monkey. Sorry guys, not fuckin sorry...you did this TO YOURSELVES SO WELCOME TO THE PARTY OF PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY AHAHAHAHHAA!

One of the things I loved about their testimony is that they weren't there to push for or against impeachment. They just brought their expertise to analyze the very specific and narrow issue of obstruction of justice. They were substantive, poised, sharp, quick on the uptake and didn't put up with any crap.

so why didn't he? Instead he tried to corruptly enlist his minions to do his dirty work and it came off as appearing to be obstruction to the minions. Why was that? I wish someone had asked him, as I think he presented himself pretty well, though I disagree with the ideology, it would have been a question I would have liked to hear him answer.

The ladies did well. I wonder if Dean was the correct actor for the pilot of Season One of the impeachment show. We shall see.
