I know Al Franken still has a lot of fans at DU (including me, even though I've argued with some of you recently about whether Senator Gillibrand should be blamed for his resignation).
ANYWHOO, Al Franken launched a new podcast a few weeks ago, and it's quite good. I encourage you to check it out, and maybe even subscribe. He's done like 4 episodes so far, and they are all very good. I was a huge fan of his show on Air America, and it's good to hear his voice again. It's his signature mixture of wry humor with smart and insightful political analysis.

(23,322 posts)I had no idea. I love Al and was a huge fan of his Air America show.
Speaking of good podcasts...Chuck Rosenbergs The Oath is excellent. Quite a cast of guests and it isnt all talk about MF45 which is great imho.

(1,537 posts)The most recent episode with Jeffery Toobin (CNN's chief legal analyst) and Nancy Gertner (Harvard Law professor) where they discuss Trump's rapid appointment of judges, was particularly good.
Episodes are about 40 minutes long, and there are no commercials (so far).
