only people like S. Sanders and her dad, Trump, Louie Gohmert, Dick Cheney and hundreds of other right-wing politicians, numerous right-wing media organizations, evangelical churches and your neighborhood MAHAt exist.
Those inside that tightly closed world only communicate with those within. Interface with outside people is forbidden except to make money from them or demoralize and insult them. They see anyone outside the bubble as evil and adversarial. Therefore, lying to and deceiving outsiders is the honorable thing to do.
Vast sums of money float about within the bubble but for use only by those within and a very complex web of social interconnections exists.
That is their world and they protect only their own. Persons losing their job simply needs to network within the bubble and all will be well. Positions with think tanks, media companies, hundreds of corporations and lobbying firms abound.
They are in touch with reality but it is one entirely of their own making.......
What we have going for us is that we're right - factually and morally. However, people like you and I are only being heard within our own bubble. The point of my rant was that they isolate themselves completely and don't listen to any criticism - constructive or not. And, they have massive media support to spread the lies and deception (talk radio, Faux News, etc., and seats on the boards of directors of all our MSM).
It's a vast, well-oiled and well-funded machine. It's going to be a hard nut to crack but we somehow must burst their bubble. I don't feel our society can survive this divisiveness long-term. As you said, the secret may be in just continuous pounding with the truth, especially with shaming where laws have been broken.
I think Speaker Pelosi is an example of a Dem voice that's finally being heard and listened to. Very refreshing.
In part, what I said was based on some recent exposure to MAGAts I had to deal with and I'm pissed. They are self-righteous, uppity, demeaning, controlling and appear to only consult with those within their closed circle of friends and family. Very difficult situation to deal with. Most I know have carried on that way for many years and they act as if they exist in a separate realm of space.
All of Trump's administration act exactly that way and so did W's and Reagan's bunch. It is a mental disease in my view.

Here’s the thing though: Sanders was never really hired to be a press secretary. Her real job, I’d venture, was to be a Very Visible Woman. Her real job was to be the female face of a deeply misogynistic administration; to play the role of the empowered working mother and make the Trump administration’s crass patriarchy more palatable.
