***This article highlights the problem of permafrost melting and releasing methane. Per other articles I have read, this methane is not captured in many global warming models***
The state has just had its warmest spring on record, causing permafrost to thaw and dramatically reshaping some areas.

This is from a British newspaper. I wonder if the British are more aware of this than Americans. I wonder if Alaskan newspapers are reporting this, land of Trumpians and hence climate change deniers.

(19,343 posts)2. I think for sure British and other European countries report far more on climate change.
I also see more on international news about extreme weather around the world like heat waves in India, floods in Mexico and China.

And they are very informed on whats going on in America.
They dont totally understand how we let it happen, but they do understand.
They think T is a total goof like Boris who is about to win in England, said he reminds them of T.
