Before long he'll be floating through the air on a suspensor belt.

Because if you're as big as the Baron, you'd better make sure your stash of that life-extending spice melange can be replenished reliably!

The guy doesn't have any brilliant ideas. He isn't charismatic. He is basically just a dick. That may get over in Jersey, but it ain't flying nationally.

The media loves people like Ryan and Christie because they are controversial. But the media doesn't cover them as controversial. They paint them as the messiah.

Reagan was a dick too, but he had a charisma to pull that off without being completely offensive. Christie is just a jerk without the slightest hint of Reagan's charisma.

I doubt Christie will even be alive in 2016, but if he is, I hope he is the candidate for the GOP.

He'll suffer much the same fate, going down in flames.

I've never seen or heard a politician that has nothing but bluster like that fat turd.

He is thinking more of 2016 than 2012.

It didn't have nearly the red meat I thought it would. From a GOP standpoint I thought both speeches were huge disappointments.

The convention is 33% over. Obama is smiling tonight.

I wonder what the risk is for a 400 pound plus guy over the age of 50 like Gov. Christie.

He likes to pound ice cream on the boardwalk and yell at hecklers until the veins on his forehead stand out.

You don't see too many type A 400 pounders older than Christie. Just an observation.

He cannot even walk from a helicopter to the viewing stands at his kid's game...had to have a limo drive him the rest of the way..

If he's serious about running, he has 4 years to drop some serious weight and get himself fit .

I am overweight too, and I know how hard it is to do, but then I do not plan on running for office either.

Google Cyril Smith for a parallel. Politician who weighed over 430.

Died recently.

At 83.

Of an unrelated cancer.

With patients doing EEGs, PSGs, and other neurological tests...I'm also an EMT...for every Cyril Smith there are 100 other obese people losing limbs to diabetes, the use of their facilities due to a Stroke or TIA, or falling over dead due to a Heart attack. Perhaps mr. Smith would have seen 100 had he not been morbidly obese. I see what you're saying, but getting past the 50% here that chose to make fun of his condition, the other 50% seem to care about his health more than he does, seeing as he prides himself on stuffing any number of greasy, sweet treats down his gullet...all I'm saying is that it isn't a healthy lifestyle...and he is not built to carry 150-200lbs of extra weight....he doesn't look healthy....any doctor for worth his weight can look at the man and tell You....I'd love to do a PSG test on him....
