We Are in a Climate Emergency, America': Anchorage Hits 90 Degrees for First Time

From the article:

With Alaska in the midst of an unprecedented heat wave that experts say is driven by the climate crisis, Anchorage—the state's largest city—reached an all-time high temperature of 90 degrees on Thursday.
"At 5 pm [Thursday] afternoon, Anchorage International Airport officially hit 90 degrees for the first time on record," the Anchorage National Weather Service announced in a tweet early Friday.

And as this happens, the US corporate media devotes less coverage to climate change, and Trump promotes coal.

... the fourth day this week that they had hail. The flowers I planted for her(my aunt) the past month are decimated.

It caused a lot of damage. But all of these unusual weather events are reported as simply unusual instances of weather, with no mention of climate change.
