This much excitement and pride has been absent for over 2 years. As a Veteran from Vietnam service, we had to wait until after Desert Storm to be appreciated and feel proud of our service. The past 2 years had me feeling like the post Vietnam disrespect of our country. Today, these American women have my pride soaring.
