on in these detention camps? They are so overloaded they can't find space to lie down to sleep. They say they aren't getting fed enough or that the food is rotten. They are supposedly told to drink water from the toilet...have no mats or blankets, clean clothes or soap for showers (which they supposedly get infrequently). Some have complained that young children are being asked to take care of toddlers, so the money isn't going to aides, laundry, groceries, medicine, etc.
If the owners of these contracts are running these camps in such a horrid way, where are they spending the money? We have heard of amounts of $750-800/day/immigrant. We need audits of the books!
Congress just approved another $4-5B. How do we know this money isn't going into the pockets of those in charge...board members, etc.? I think it is time we know the details.

(21,577 posts)Drumpf and the contractors are pocketing most of that money. Drumpf above all other things loves money and one way or another he is getting kickbacks. Because for $750 a day you could put all these people up in Disney resorts with park admission.
