Sounds like she's lost it.
Losing it.
Who isn't. You're crazy if you're not.

(15,805 posts)Stress symptoms are becoming epidemic, most attributable to life in trumpworld.
Rachel cried when she read the first reports about babies being separated from their parents. She has a soul, not something that can be said for a lot of talking heads; certainly no one at Fox has ever been accused of giving a damn. When she gets stressed, I know I'm not alone.

(6,799 posts)She is as appalled as some of us that the President of the United States is allegedly involved in some pretty awful stuff. How far we have fallen. Makes me a little bit off kilter also.

(7,576 posts)great segment....I never have a problem when Rachel shows emotion....she is human which is more than we see in this horrific, heartless, soulless, shameless administration.

(23,322 posts)makes me feel a little less alone and a little less crazy. For some reason, the Epstein/MF45/Dershowitz news this week has me hyper triggered. Im at rock bottom. Ill get back up but everythings really dark for me right now.

(24,736 posts)The stark clarity of trump and his followers' evil is almost too much to bear.
It's like someone screaming profanities in your ear and it's only getting louder!
Thankfully I'll be in your beautiful namesake state next week visiting our daughter there and camping!

I am swearing off MSM this weekend and traveling to Bozeman with a friend to help her pick up a Peregrine falcon chick. Couldnt say no to that opportunity. Holding on to the positives will get us all through this.

(24,736 posts)We drop her off there and head to Rock Ck., so husband can fly fish to his hearts content while I hike and read!
What do you do with the falcon?
Years back my husband assisted someone here in e. WA who had a permit to collect one, by rock climbing up to its nest. I think the other guy used it for sport somehow - trained to fly and return. Actually sounds a little... I don't know, hard on mama falcon ...now?!

(23,322 posts)and director of Raptors of the Rockies. I'm on the board of directors. This chick was raised in captivity and will be a education program bird for the organization. We voted as a board to acquire a captive raised chick as opposed to removing a baby from the nest. Pros and cons both ways as I understand it. This chick will also grow up and be able to fly and hunt ducks like a wild bird...I got to go on a duck hunt behind Sibley, the current educationprogram Peregrine at the raptor center and it is something to behold. Peregrines fly like rockets...it is really something to see!
In case it is of interest...
