Trump knows this and is why he will defy the Law and go forward with it.

The polls accuracy is not the issue, the poll gives him cover to push all the way with this.

THAT is the point I am making. Arguing the poll numbers is beside the point.

4. DUers should be aware that it is not only demoralized, yet sincere members who will post

the suggestion that all hope is lost-- with the implication that the rest of us are just too unaware or naive to know what is coming. I think we can expect a lot of such threads today including from those who do so--with a far less innocent motivation.

Stand firm. We don't win without a fight... and we don't win if we give up before we start. Don't give in to the attempt to demoralize.

But it does indicate that the majority of those answering the poll don't really understand what the census is about. Which is actually true of a scary number of Americans. It seems that the ten years between The Census events is long enough that everyone over the age of ten forgets there was a census ten years earlier. And most of them have no idea it's actually in the Constitution.

I’m pretty much resigned to the fact that he will “win” reelection. He might not get the votes legally but he will likely get them. All I can do is vote and make sure everyone around me votes. Then hope and pray that we win. It is hard to remain positive because Trump is a crook surrounded by a bunch of crooks. Hard to believe that they would not be plotting something illegal to stay in power.
