is under the delusion that our politics are being operated under the rules of politeness and comity from 50 years ago.

The rules have changed. Chuck Schumer behaves in the same way - even though he has lived with Mitch McConnell's BS for ten years.

but how will she stop the over the top drama from the Republicans? Or does she want their histrionics to overshadow whatever does actually come out of it?

There does not need to be "drama" from the Democratic side. Just straight forward, honest questions which nudge Mueller toward making statements that clarify and support his report. He is not a hostile witness and to treat this testimony as theater would be the fastest way to have Mueller use his legal rights to avoid subjecting himself to speculation.

The Republicans will no doubt act like idiots. The public should see the difference between acting like an idiot and calmly doing the work of getting to the facts of the matter.

Hysterical outrage, faux or real, in questioning Mueller only plays into that fascist pig's of a witch hunt.

They'll mischaracterize the calm and measured questions as well. Besides, how do you, or Nancy, think there will be anything other than decent, not-just-for-drama questions? The republicans will do nothing but grandstand their bullshit instead of seeking the truth, I couldn't care less about their dishonest opinions.
