My cash register total at Aldi today just happened to total $17.75

I wish I could have been more clever, but it was spontaneous, and the cashier and a couple of people in line appreciated it, anyway.

5. I attended a conference in Texas

a number of years ago, and as part of the conference, we toured the GHW Bush Presidential Library. Needed to buy some souveniers (it was a nice little gift shop, and not all related to GHWB) and my total came to $41.41.

It really tickled the clerks when I pointed it out.
