If so ... seems fairly likely, yup ... IMO it's unlikely to be as virulent though, at least in part by virtue of the commonality in religions.

for the same reason there are trump supporters and white males do mass shootings.
they tend to be losers.

same reasons since the beginning of time. I hope that I'm fortunate enough not to see such happenings outside my front door, but it's pretty obvious to see how things start.
