Trump's dementia apocalypse. He's a shell. The suit is a costume. Zoned out. Unable to concentrate.

I think Hate is snapping his neurons!!

Trump's dementia apocalypse. He's a shell. The suit is a costume. Zoned out. Unable to concentrate. He can't stand or turn to face his guests. Her tragic story doesn't register w/ him bc he can't process words. They are fragments. His response shows how lost & disoriented he is

My God, I didn’t see this. Trump looks like he’s listening to Kanye West instead of a real life horror story.

he does seem oddly empathetic, and confused, not his usual evil self. He's a bit like someone in a fog, like an old man talking to the young new volunteer in the elder care place.

Just emptiness and lack of interest. The only time he showed interest was wanting to know how she got a Nobel prize. Because, you know, she can't have one and he doesn't. Typical Narcissism.

Maybe a Valium or other tranquilizer buzz?

Could also be heavy-duty heart meds.

forgot Wynonna Judd’s name( whom he’s known for decades), he ended up calling her redhead and forgot AOC’s name at the rally. He finally remembered Cortez. He slurs his words and does a lot of word searching. And then there’s his balance issues. Definitely something going on and it’s not just medication.

That's weakness. He resigns for any reason, and the majority those trump supporters will have no idea who might have voted for him, but it certainly wasnt any of them. But they will come up with a new godking to coalesce around right quick, dont you worry.

It's his amoral self-cherishing. This morning, the word that comes to mind is "ugly." Ugly soul. Ugly ill-will. Ugly delight and joy in hurting others. Ugly disregard and indifference to truth. Ugly concern for only what benefits him.

"present the results of their mental capacity evaluation (the ability to make sound, rational, and reality-based decisions) of the president, based on the abundant information in the special counsel’s report. After this presentation, they will unveil five critical questions they believe need to be asked of Mr. Mueller based on their evaluation. Questions will then be taken from lawmakers and the general public."

Also from their site:

We take ethics seriously: Both the president and the vice president of this organization have been staunch defendants of the Goldwater rule for decades. This is why we consider what the American Psychiatric Association has done under this administration to be especially egregious. It failed to clarify to the public that the Goldwater rule is an affirmative obligation: that we participate in activities that improve the community and better public health—and educate the public when asked about a public figure while refraining from diagnosis. By inflating the “do not diagnose” part while suppressing the “educate to better public health” part, it created a gag rule that has protected a destructive government. We object to this politicization of psychiatric ethics and placing a public figure (who is not a patient) over public health and safety (our primary responsibility).

More on the politicization of the Goldwater rule is explained here: ...

Fwiw, I believe we should hold off on assuming dementia in a person who's displayed obvious signs of some type of disorder his entire adulthood. He apparently has a very good chance of inheriting his father's dementia, but that seemingly wouldn't have hit before perhaps his mid 80s, while Trump's insistence on constantly displaying his aberrant behaviors to any audience he could push himself in front of has provided material for over 40 years of Doonsbury cartoons. From 20 years ago:

“Even though he’s changed wives twice and party affiliation five times since I’ve been watching him, the underlying personality disorder has remained remarkably stable.” ~ Trudeau

and I mean, at all. He can't follow other peoples' words because they are not coming from his own mouth, generated by his own "very good brain." And even if he could, he'd be hard pressed to look like he gives a fuck about what they are saying, unless it is something about how great he is and how smart and how everyone loves him.

He is still a moron

snip//

But one of the most noteworthy exchanges during the event came from Nadia Murad, a human rights activist who won a Nobel Peace Prize for her work in bringing attention to the plight of the Yazidi community in Iraq. Murad asked Trump for help in securing safety in the region for people like her who are unable to return home.

"But ISIS is gone?" Trump asked. "If I cannot go to my home and live in a safe place and get my dignity back, this is not about ISIS," Murad responded. "It's about I'm in danger. My people cannot go back." After she told Trump about her entire family being killed, Trump asked "Where are they now?" and said "I know the area very well." He then pivoted to her Nobel Prize, asking, "they gave it to you for what reason? Maybe you can explain."

Thousands of Yazidis have been killed by ISIS and thousands more were taken prisoner, like Murad, who asked Trump to press Iraqi and Kurdish officials to support survivors in returning to Iraq. Trump told Murad he is "going to look into it very strongly."
