I'm taking bets trump will pull some distraction/stunt to minimized coverage of Mueller's...

testimony coming up next week. Remember his "send her back" rally was originally scheduled on the same day as Mueller's original testimony date, the 17th, to do just that.

I don't know if the Dems somehow one-upped trump and managed to work with Mueller to postpone it for a week but however it happened it was a successful move and we know trump will try something else—probably a tweet storm of a magnitude of outrageousness we've never seen, or, although it's too late for another rally, he might hold a news conference to announce all the extensive preparations being made for Kim Jong-un's state visit to the White House, or he'll have Barr pull some legal shenanigans to try to stop the testimony somehow.

Then there's the situation in Iran. He could have Bolton and Pompeo ratched up the tension over there with missile strikes from Navy ships or more drone conflict or even a mini-Gulf of Tonkin incident.

Something is going to happen. Any other possibilities?

A lot of that might just be Bolton taking advantage of the situation, rather than a deliberate Trump distraction from the Mueller testimony. Trump is distracted, too, and it would be an easy time for Bolton to just move in and get what he wants. We (the U.S.) are so screwed.

6. If Mueller is no better than his report or "press conference," trump will be touting no collusion,

no obstruction, no nothing, right up until election.

Hopefully Democrats on Committee will pointedly question him in a coordinated fashion without showboating.

So far, there is not much to distract from regarding Mueller's findings. Obstruction, alone, isn't going to touch trump because it's no secret he's obstructed justice numerous times. Sadly, not enough people care about that.
