Adam Schiff Demands Investigation Into AG Barr's Role in Halting SDNY Investigation Into Trump

https://www.politicususa.com/2019/07/19/adam-schiff-barr-cover-up.html

"Adam Schiff Demands Investigation Into Barr’s Trump Felony Cover-Up"
. . . .
"There are still a great many questions unanswered by the documents made public [ by the United States District in Manhattan on 7-18-19], including Trump’s legal exposure when he leaves office, but the one of most immediate concern to me [Schiff] is the involvement, if any, of Attorney General Barr. Barr testified that he believes it was within the President’s power to stop any investigation into his own potential criminality if he felt an investigation was unfair. Barr has demonstrated there are no lengths to which he will not go to protect the President, and I believe it is of paramount importance to determine if he had any involvement in the SDNY’s investigation or sought to bring it to a close."

Just what will it take for the most vulnerable of Americans, the so-called common man, to awaken to the fact that the Republican hierarchy is determined to overthrow our democratic government and replace it with a fascist oligarchy. It appears that after fifty years of intense propaganda that they are confident enough to out rightly challenge the nation's most cherished principle. That no man is above the law. I also wonder if those common working folks even have the fortitude to resist. I appears that the fascists are not only winning, but winning battle without firing a shot and a large segment of our fellow citizens are embracing the fascist message of hatred an division not unlike the endorsement of Hitler's message of hatred and division. Could this lead to a catastrophe as dire as what German suffered?

too many have bought in to the idea that we are a republic and not a democracy. They actually support the idea of having less democratic control over the country. That bullshit has been sold to them for years and now that the party that they supported for so long is in power they are full throttle for removing our democracy to keep it that way. It is completely fucked up that they cannot see the need to have a reversal option should they need it but there you have it. They WANT our democracy to fail.

Barr isn't even trying to hide his disdain for the rule of law.
I'd call him an asshole but that would defame honest, hardworking assholes who are just doing their job of holding back a pile of shit until it can be properly dumped down the old shit can.

Barr is what comes out of an asshole...in this case, Trump.

Received this e.mail today:

'Some important news from Adam’s district: A wealthy, Trump-loving Republican just filed to run against Adam in 2020.

And on the first day of his campaign, our new opponent decided his first stop should be a far-right, pro-Trump news network that is known to push wacky conspiracy theories to attack Adam with a bunch of smears that would make the President proud.

He called Adam a national disgrace and a liar. He claimed Adam is trying to cover-up the “crimes” and “Russian collusion” of Hillary Clinton and the DNC. He spread vicious and hurtful conspiracy theories about a tragically murdered DNC staffer. And he said Adam is on a mission to hold Donald Trump accountable.

Okay, he’s actually right about that last part, but the rest of it? It’s a sad demonstration of the Trumpification of the Republican party.

Attacks from the fringe are not anything new for Adam, but we have to take this seriously for one simple reason. Our new opponent is wealthy and he has a history of spending hundreds of thousands of his own money trying to buy elections.

Adam relies on grassroots support from people like you to get his message out and fight back, whether the attacks are coming from the President or his new opponent. That’s why we’re asking:

Will you pitch in $5 or whatever you can to show you’re standing with Adam and you want to make sure he can keep focusing on his work in Congress at this crucial time?'

that since SDNY gave Weisselberg and Pecker some type of immunity for their co-operation, there really isn't anyone else, except Trump, named in the indictment to prosecute. Just food for thought.
