turns into a kick in the teeth to Donald Trump.
He orchestrates his MAGATs and entices them to spew and fling raging foam from their mouths at Ilhan Omar in knee jerk spasms to scream Send her back!, Send her back!
So Ilhan Omar goes back home and receives a heros welcome from her American constituents at the airport chanting their welcome message.
Trump has a meltdown! He has just made her a worldwide hero and a household name.

(15,100 posts)He tells his crowd that he is their favorite president and they cheer. So he extrapolates and assumes that everyone loves him.
So he could never imagine that Rep. Omar would be treated this way.
Note: guessing he doesn't know what "extrapolate" means.

Decent people don't even want him around - he had to beg for a meal with the British queen.

(15,100 posts)We are having to live through this chaos as by-standers. I cannot imagine being him, or a family member, having to live in this chaos 24/7. No wonder he's mentally ill.

(53,410 posts)Hes been trying to stage something like this all his life for his own benefit, but that would mean he has to fly regular and walk into an airport where there are PEOPLLLLLLE! Real, unpaid peoplllle!

The reality is that those demonstrations are staged to a certain degree. People who like Ohmar likely knew she was coming home, threw something together, and called the media.
Trump is trying to conflate that type of grass roots "staging" with what he and his cronies do.
Trump's rallies are obviously orchestrated on a professional level to try and make him look as good as possible, to the point where it is obvious. His press conferences, anything he does is done deliberately to avoid the regular mistakes and lack of ability to be spontaneous and to get the most sycophantic people around him.
Of course Ohmar's arrival was not a, "Oh I happened to be at the airport with a sign, with a bunch of other people and cameras" spontaneous event. The difference is that The supporters were motivated to go there by themselves and didn't need professional coordination, a promise of money or a spectacle.
Trump is upset that people actually, naturally, and with reason, like Ilan Ohmar.

Trump does not understand love. His value of himself is completely pathological. I would feel sympathy for him if he wasn't such a destructive asshole.

We are not deterred, we are not frightened, we are ready. We are in the ring, Omar said before departing for a town hall in south Minneapolis. We are in the peoples house, and we are going to continue to fight it until we have the America we know we all deserve.

Between the stress from the headlines and the high-fat/sodium/cholesterol/sugar intake, soon we wont need Article 25. As if the Cabinet (of acting appointees) or Senate had collective spines.
