I watch YouTube a lot and I am constantly getting an ad that says
"Politicians are pushing one size fits all health plans. Medicare for all, Medicare buy-in and a public option all mean the same thing: you would pay more and wait longer for worse care."
It then directs you to this website: https://americashealthcarefuture.org/
What are Democrats going to do to counter this constant and well backed propaganda. I also would like to know who is paying for it. I have given it thumbs down many times, but it still comes on. I really tees me off to have to sit through it so, to get rid of it , I immediatly hit the back arrow and the forward arrow and am given a different ad to watch before the awaited video. I would like to know if there is an organization I can donate to to counter this s*%t. Thanks, Sage

(51,593 posts)I never saw it before and got close to the TV to see who these asses were who were paying for this. I think it is a group of rich, GOP doctors who want to get more rich.

(26,366 posts)The formation of the Partnership for Americas Health Care Future is a sign of the health-care industrys alarm over growing support for a single payer health-care law within the Democratic Party.
Health insurance and drug companies, who are often at odds on policy issues, banded together to form the group, which lobbyists say could run advertisements against single-payer plans and promote studies to undermine the idea.
There is a list of their members on their "About Us" page:
