Trump vows congresswomen 'can't get away with' criticizing U.S.

President Trump capped his week of attacks on four minority congresswomen on Friday, saying that while he’s president any criticism of the United States is unacceptable and they “can’t get away with” it.

His statement is at odds with the Constitution, which grants every American the right of free speech.

They “can’t get away with” speaking badly about the United States, Trump told reporters outside the White House. “I can tell you this, you can’t talk that way about our country, not when I’m the president.”

The four Democratic lawmakers have criticized Trump administration policies, most notably on immigration and climate change. Trump, in the past, has criticized the policies of Democratic presidents.

That's why he likes people like Kim Jong Un, Putin and MBS. They don't have to put up with criticism.

his destructive policies and practices along with his fellow lemming republicans. They criticize the greed of the wealthy, the cruelty of the border agencies, the deadly incompetence of the police, the systemic racism in our institutions, and other issues that are demonstrably hurting people. That is not criticism of the US, that is criticism of the people who support these horrible practices. That they are willing to stand up and represent their districts and speak out against all this hate shows me that they have far more love and respect for the US than any republican I've ever known about or met.

He's switching the target. Wussolini has no problem wrapping himself in the flag and saying "You insult me, you insult America."

Everyone not at a MAGA rally knows where the criticism is aimed.

...(trump) has repeatedly said “our country is a laughingstock” and took issue with the term “American exceptionalism.” In 2013, he praised Mr. Putin for an “amazing” Op-Ed in The New York Times that said the United States was not special and criticized Mr. Obama for asserting American exceptionalism...

She is criticizing you and your disgraceful, so-called leadership.

YOU are the problem and YOU are the target of criticism. They love this country, which is why they want you to stand down.

You have done everything in your power to destroy this nation and we are all just sick to death of you!

Resign, motherfucker!
