“The latest tally in the Queens district attorney primary recount latest shows Borough President Melinda Katz beating insurgent candidate Tiffany Cabán in the 25th Assembly district.

The latest results on Wednesday show Katz beating Cabán 1,523 votes to 897 in the 25th.

The Board of Elections won’t release official results until the recount is complete. But a running tally of results is displayed to campaign observers, above, at the BOE’s recount headquarters in Middle Village as they are entered in the board’s database.”

At the same time, the Times has said Ms. Caban does not have the managerial experience Ms. Katz has which I presume is optimum in an office full of experienced prosecutors.

This race doesn't affect me too much. From what I've read of both candidates, I like both of them. Hopefully the better prosecutor wins, and then on to the next race.
