The Republicans are unwinding our nation and our world. Foxbots don't know. Many, many others refuse to watch the news because it is "fake" or "disturbing" or whatever. Democrats need to use billboards in red areas (all areas?) and put up a single nugget of what the Reps are up to at the moment.
Chris Hayes talked on his MSNBC show about the massive subsidies going to big AgriBusiness while the Reps are trying to take food stamps from 3 million mostly working Americans who have poor salaries resulting in poor situations. This sort of thing needs to be out there for people to see.
Climate change is turning into an imminent threat. People need to see the latest on this topic. Billboards.
How do we get them to look and maybe read? Use the same techniques that Big Business uses. Attractive models and provocative material. "How can I enjoy sex more when I am worried about losing my healthcare? Those Republicans are eating away at it. Look what I read: "Example of Republican ratfuckery here".
Wealthy folks who want a future need to pony up and finance some eyecatching billboards to educate the aholes who are giving the Republicans (and Trump) a pass.
Billboards.
What do you think? Any suggestions on what could be on the billboards to "make em read"?

(102,292 posts)as many billboard or right of ways for billboards nationwide or at least in important EC areas and erecting electronic billboards in many of them that can be changed as often as necessary. A simple concept can be effectively delivered even in the glance afforded by drivers passing by.
Yes, I think even low tech billboards can be effective.

(43,049 posts)Rte 25 runs out to Orient Point where the Cross Sound Ferry lands. NY state put up a pile of signs welcoming Connecticutors to NY and touting the wonders of Long Island and NY State.
Massive complaints, lawsuits, and whatever tried to force the state to take them down, even the ones on the state road and on state land. It seems the county and the town seriously regulate highway signs.

Get some great celebrity musicians and hold a national telethon to raise money for anti-vote-tampering software for states.
Show clips of what Mueller said. Show clips if what Intel has said. Talk about how this is the ONLY way to protect your vote. Americans ( not Dems and Reps). Senate won't take up and Trump won't either.

Idea...gold mine in regs trump has reversed. One agregious one..he reversed an Obama reg that stopped coal companies from dumping cancer causing sludge into streams. See an ad of kids swimming and how the water isn't safe now. Don't openly bash trump but act confused...how could someone do this? Air during the voice or bachelor or whatever fav shows there are.
