They think you are in their pocket, and I suspect to a certain degree you are. But now they're just rubbing your noses in it. They are shoving piles of shit down your throat with the brazen certainty that you will do nothing about it. A master lording over a slave.
They are insulting you, they know you will lick their boots and kiss their ass and gladly regurgitate their poisonous filth to the public with nary a whimper. In fact, they know many of you will do it with relish and aplomb as you bleat your "both sides do it!" false equivalence.
Paul Ryan got up before you yesterday and peddled some of the most glaring, egregious, discredited bullshit that's ever been vomited from the stage of a convention; and this is the post-Palin era, so that's saying something.
