Now 35 years later I think that technology, in many cases, may have done more harm than good.

Here are two cases that keep bothering me.

1. The internet and all of its tools, twitter, facebook, and other social media.

Has allowed a less than stable individual to spew his hate and misinformation (lies) to millions without any filtering.

2. Without the internet and computers, I believe the world of elections would be safer.

Computers have allowed those that want to steal elections to use vast amounts of historical data to focus their attacks. Without the internet, the Russians would not have been able to infiltrate 50 state voting systems..
