Stanley Martin Lieber, better known by the pen name Stan Lee, is an American comic book writer, editor, actor, producer, publisher, television personality, and the former president and chairman of Marvel Comics.

No, really. I am a huge fan of Stan the Man. Don't like what's been done with his characters more recently, generally, but love what he did at Marvel.

It seems he makes a cameo in every movie of a Marvel property.

In the first Iron Man movie, Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) greets Stan as "Hef."

My brother and I collected tons of his comics back in the 80's. He was more of a Spiderman fan. I love Stan.
