They blatantly lie, themselves, every single day. So it's not surprising they would do this. Honestly I believe that they made an editorial/biz decision to link up with Fox or at least that slant. It's been very very obvious.

RYAN: Obama "created a bipartisan debt commission. They came back with an urgent report. He thanked them, sent them on their way and then did exactly nothing."

THE FACTS: It's true that Obama hasn't heeded his commission's recommendations, but Ryan's not the best one to complain. He was a member of the commission and voted against its final report.


The facts about "THE FACTS": No, Yahoo, there was no "final report". The law establishing the Commission provided that it could not issue a final report unless it had the endorsement of at least 14 members. The document that was produced did not meet that supermajority requirement, so it was just the opinion of some of the members of the Commission.

It is, however, a good thing to point out that Ryan was one of the dissenters from the views that he now criticizes Obama for not adopting.
