The children now play together daily, despite the hatred of a few.

It was called 'Call Across The Border', and it took place on a kibbutz in Israel. The narrator, a young Israeli boy, wanted to know why he couldn't go play with the kids across the border. His elders told him that they were the enemy, and not to associate with them.
