On top of the ceaseless Trump-chaos, the events of the last few days have been so staggeringly horrible as to be near-unbearable.

In these extremely dark times, there’s only one information source and online community that can actually serve as a psychic first-aid kit: good old DU. Whether it’s grieving together, or venting furiously, or being buoyed up just a bit by being part of a like-minded group, DU is a life raft in the roiling sea of relentless insanity.

Thanks so much to *everyone* here— for your insight and wit, thoughtful analyses, empathetic words when needed, and the always-spirited give-and-take. It’s a gift of inestimable value.

DU is my first stop daily. I HAVE to read posts from SANE people, rather than the lies and BS on other sites. I find it hard to believe that so many people really are on tRump's side. Surely the Russian propaganda machines are in full swing? I remember how much I disliked Dubya, but my feelings for the orange anus-mouthed cretin in office now makes that disgust pale in comparison. People overseas, apart from Russia of course, are horrified that the US "elected" such a dumb, know-nothing, hate spewing and spreading piss poor excuse for a human being into the WH. Maybe the tide will turn once Moscow Mitch is destroyed and run out of power.
