Chicago Lives Matter

The fact that the news media is consumed with the shootings that happened this weekend in Dayton and El Paso and almost ignores the 7 killed and 46 wounded in Chicago. This seems to me to be another example of how the lives of people of color are less respected in this country. People have told me that it's "only gang violence" in Chicago as though that makes a difference.

We have to care about all of the victims of shootings no matter who they are or where they live.

The response to these horrible events must be nationwide. Yes, gun control is a start.
