the rank and file Trump supporter didn't benefit from Trump's tax cuts.
Actually anytime the Repugs talk about tax cuts and say that it will benefit everyone - it's usually a sign that prices of everything are going up - because you never get something for nothing.
So here we are - the tax cuts were made and like every one of these tax cuts in the past - there was no trickle-down. In fact the price of everything has gone up or is going up. Gas, groceries, electronics, appliances, restaurant foods, etc, etc, etc.
So why the hell do that hard core 40% of the American People support Trump. Not because of the tax cuts - but they support him because of his racism, misogyny, incivility, lawlessness, lying and xenophobia.
There's this portion of the American population that are as bad as Trump himself. Trump provides them the cover to be who they are. Unfortunately - they don't realize what they are doing to themselves. They are shooting themselves in the foot. In the end - do you think that they will realize what Trump has done to them and their children and grandchildren.
