Too bad he wasn't truthful about his bewilderment as the Admiral was. He might have gotten some of the sympathy contingent.

Actually, I really liked Stockdale. He was a real person, albeit totally unsuited for VEEP of the USA. But my Dem pals all universally liked him.

I had no idea how it was going to go. I was even questioning if he would get up there and lie like romney and mini mitt and every damn one in the gop that he's endorsing. Well, I got me answer.

So much for Clint Eastwood's big endorsement.
