A reason to not impeach before November 2020

If the orange asshole pulls off another coup, we need impeachment.

If he loses the American people themselves have booted the bigot OOO.

1. If we fail to do so now

We may well loose any future attempt to impeach for our failure
to act, now, when the evidence is clear.

If there was it would go nowhere after an election where the people have spoken.

3. The Constitution doesn't limit Congress to one impeachment attempt per president

The Constitution needs defending NOW, and Nadler should proceed aggressively with his investigations.

If Trump gets a second term, there will be plenty of crimes for future articles of impeachment, but congress should draft articles of impeachment for his current crimes NOW.

but the last time I checked, and just maybe you haven't noticed
over the last three years, NORMAL no longer exists...

4. My biggest concern would be the new GOP nominee.

Even with the GOP Senate not dumping him, it might create a groundswell for him not to run.
Somebody like Kasich or Romney might be tougher to beat than Trump.

5. This thought has crossed my mind also. The GOP, if severally stressed, could nominate Weld

or someone else. This would be an entirely different contest.
