My WTF moment for the morning re Barr.

You cannot make this up. AG Barr's father hired Epstein without a college degree to teach at the prep school he ran & wrote 2 books while Epstein worked there: One,
"Space Relations: A Slightly Gothic Interplanetary Tale," is about sex slaves! Check google if you don't believe.

The Ties That Bind Jeffrey Epstein, William Barr & Donald Trump

Todd Neikirk
Hill Reporter, May 19, 2019

During Attorney General, William Barr’s confirmation hearing, he was mostly peppered with questions about how he would handle the Mueller Report. Senator Ben Sasse’s (R-NE) questioning, however, diverged from the pack. Sasse asked Barr about the lenient sentence given out to billionaire pedophile, Jeffrey Epstein. The future Attorney General told Sasse that he would look into the matter.

This, however, was not the first connection between Barr and his family and the disgraced pedophile. In 1973, Barr’s father Donald, the headmaster at Manhattan’s Dalton School, hired Epstein as a calculus and physics teacher.

While hiring Epstein, a noted mathematics genius, was not strange on its face, the hire was unusual for a number of reasons. Epstein had not earned a college degree as he dropped out of New York’s prestigious Cooper Union. The other odd circumstance was that the new teacher was only 20 years of age.

Apparently, the hire was a successful one. The New Yorker wrote in a 2003 profile on Epstein, “he was something of a Robin Williams–in–Dead Poets Society type of figure, wowing his high-school classes with passionate mathematical riffs.” Epstein’s mathematical skills caught the eye of Bear Stearns’ chairman, Alan “Ace” Greenberg, whose son attended the Dalton School. Greenberg hired Epstein as an options trader and the former teacher was able to amass a fortune.

then changed his mind, or had his mind changed FOR him. He should be removed from this investigation. He is too close to the players in this case. By the way, it was revealed that Epstein introduced tRump to wife #3. How did he know her, I wonder? Oh, wait, he was deeply involved in the sex trade and so was she so there is that. Could this have any connection to Epstein's "suicide"?

Maybe he was just interested in Slovenian history and culture. Y'know, just like Donald Trump was. History buffs, the two of 'em.

And math! Don't forget the maths! FYI, Slovenia has bested Croatia in mathematics for decades (true story), and Epstein was a math genius (also reportedly true). So that could be the connection: Epstein, Melania, and Slovenian advances in mathematics. All the proof you need. A natural coming together of 2 brilliant minds. OK, OK, one brilliant mind and one pretty nifty body (at the time). One brilliant mind in a body drawn to women "some of whom were on the young side," as our Leader put it. One nifty-body seeking dollars as courtesan-model instead of declining tolars by entering the U.S. via an "Einstein visa."

(Not kidding about Einstein visa. Melania actually got one of 3 awarded to all Slovenians the year she came to U.S. Is special visa for genius writers, actors, philosophers, and in one special case, a real nifty body!)

Barr, Donald (1921-2004) US author and academic, former assistant dean of the Engineering School of Columbia University, and author of several nonfiction works for children as well as Who Pushed Humpty Dumpty, or The Education of a Headmaster (1971), on US education. His sf novel, Space Relations: A Slightly Gothic Interplanetary Tale (1973), is a Space Opera interlaced amusingly with "literary" analogues to its tale of a space diplomat, sold into Slavery, who is sexually excited by fear, thus enticing a princess, and who also finds out grim secrets about an alien Invasion of Earth. A Planet in Arms (1981) is noticeably less elated.

While I love SciFi, what is with these "authors" that write about sex slaves and people who are sexually excited by fear. Hmmm, a school headmaster and part-time author...could this have been projection? Wishful thinking? Sounds like a real F'ed up headmaster. Puns anyone?

It wasn't so long ago that people who had no teaching credentials were allowed to teach in public schools. In Texas, if you already have a degree in something, you can get a provisional certificate if you are working on your certification. I'm not sure if there are any requirements for teaching in a private school in Texas. I'm not saying that it was right, just that it was allowed and in private schools maybe still is.

Especially if she was younger than 16 at the time she attended, I would be lawyering up.

Pedophiles are not known for their self control. If Epstein was exposed to "younger" girls, (he supposedly only taught "older" girls 17 and 18.) he would have acted out in some manner.

no idea Barr's father wrote a book on sex slaves.

Now it makes me wonder who influenced who? Also I wonder now if the senior Barr was perhaps serviced by Epstein's sex slaves?

It doesn't get anymore depraved than this corrupt scumminess, and the junior Barr has certainly shown by his outright attempt to whitewash the Mueller Report that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

“Attorney General William Barr is the Best Reason to Vote for Clinton”

Excerpt....

SON OF THE CIA

It was 21 years ago, in 1971, that I first encountered William Barr. Both of us were working for the CIA at the time, he as a novice China analyst, I as a member of the agency’s Vietnam task force. Jovial and unassuming, he took his cues easily from an overly politicized office chief. It was a token of things to come.

Three years before, we had brushed shoulders unknowingly on Columbia University’s roiling campus. Both of us were on the other side of the barricades as antiwar demonstrations there blasted our generation into a decade of rage. Barr, a conservative student spokesman, preached toughness to the university administration, of which his father, then dean of the engineering faculty, was a leading light. Years later, this same damn-the-torpedoes zeal would commend Barr to his ultimate father figure, George Bush. When Cuban refugees penned up at an Alabama prison rioted and took hostages in the summer of 1991, deputy attorney general Barr ordered the place stormed. Soon afterward, Bush tapped him for the attorney general slot itself.

Barr first met Bush in the CIA. In 1976, having shifted to the agency’s legislative office, he helped write the pap sheets that director Bush used to fend off the Pike and Church committees, the first real embodiments of Congressional oversight of the CIA. Intimates say the experience was formative for Barr, turning him into an implacable enemy of congressional intrusions on executive prerogative.

“The most radical period I had probably was when I was sort of a moderate Republican,” he later acknowledged. Sure enough, Barr stayed safe within conservative clutches even after leaving the agency in 1977. Armed with a night-school law diploma, he asked for — and got — Bush’s backing for a clerkship appointment to Malcolm Wilkey of the Court of Appeals in Washington, D.C. Years later, as attorney general, Barr would name Wilkey to investigate the House Banking scandal. Wilkey repayed the favor with a wrenchingly partisan inquiry. Feeding the press overheated charges of wrongdoing, he scored points off the Democratic Congress just as the administration itself was being pilloried for its failed economics.
