From what I can tell, Rep. Omar is supporting her colleague Rep. Tlaib. Tlaib has a personal interest in Israel / Palestine because that's where her family is from, and where her grandmother still lives.

But if the situations in China and India are of greater concern to you, perhaps you should start another thread about that, because it looks like you're trying to hijack this one.
