(297,323 posts)to me I think because I was so concerned how much of an impression Clint Eastwood would make with his distinguished career and making the case with a reasonable speech that would speak to Independents. I was wondering if he would get up there and lie like those he supports?..
But, this..who would imagine!? ..he's like a gift that will keep on giving .. we'll see for how long.

(36,827 posts)Regardless of whether people liked Eastwood's BS or not, it's still going to eat up huge amounts of time on the networks. This means less time for Rmoney to try and paint the false image he's just etch-a-scetched for himself at a time when he needs it most.

(860 posts)I am glad he did what he did I. He spoke out for what he believes. I have admired his films forever. I support his decision. I support his freedom of speech. With that said, I have to agree to disagree with old William Munny. I will watch and love his flicks. i just won't tak politiAL advice from him
