it should have Mitt telling the convention how the president had everything given to him on a platter by
the current congress with a side bar of mitch the turtle saying "Our sole purpose is to make President
Obama a one term president".
OVER AND OVER AND OVER.
Listing every attempt to pass legislation with the same mitch blurb.

(1,435 posts)I think they were waiting til after conventions, because people have short attention span. Just this morning Dave Axelrod mentioned it on Morning Joe. By the time Nov rolls around it will be on peoples mind; knowing the reason they are out of work, lost their, homes, jobs, insurance, savings etc was part of a republican plot, hatched by the repugs to see Obama fail.
"
That is why Romney said last night in his speach,"he wanted to see Obama succeed because he wanted the country to succeed"
well, he knows what is coming about the obstruction meeting, that caused the problems for class and working class.
They should make a show of it, by showing all the votes that didn't pass because even though the had a majority but not sixty votes.
The votes against the proposals the repugs were for til Obama was for it.
They like to say that Obama wasn't cooperating, but as soon as Obama agreed on something they were for, for years, they said no just so they could campaign, saying Obama didn't do anything.
Just a little while ago, Richard Wolf asked on MSNBC Jannson Show, why did Rmoney picked Ryan, because he was at that "stop Obama meeting"

(332 posts)This is the substantive issue of this election!
Our prolonged economic struggles have to be tied to Republican obstructionism, their obsession with reproductive rights, and ultimately their core beliefs.
"Government is the problem" is the great lie of our time! The modern Republican party attempts to reinforce this belief every time the gain control of government. Its their self-fulfilling prophesy. They are no longer for smaller government but rather inefficient government.
