Do you report posts as False News in Facebook?

I know it's an endless battle, but I make it a point to do so.

I also know there are endless pages that are scum.

That said, if anyone feels so inclined, please report this post (and any other piece of shit post from this fake Christian page):

"Climate doomsday predictions prove to be ‘fake news’ every time. Why does mainstream peddle it?"

Every time I see them.

I reported the Epoch Times many times and now it is finally gone. It is worth the few seconds it takes.

Yes, I have a few, and one of them was my freshman college roommate who brought a framed portrait of Ronald Reagan into our mid-80s dorm room.

Anyway, he and this other guy put up so many outlandish fake news stories that a FactCheck or Snopes post immediately follows theirs in my Facebook feed. Unfortunately, such veracity claims don't show up in their feeds.

Yesterday, my old roommate posted this story about AOC stating the troops didn't need to be paid as much as they are, and he completely missed the point that the story was satire and the quote made up. Even when I showed him where "satire" was all over the link, he said the unhinged left can't handle the truth. He's also a Log Cabin Republican, FWIW.

These people are beyond hope. They simply need to have their asses stomped by massive turnout on our part next November.

I unfriended all Trumpers. As far as ads, I don't see that either. I don't know why either. It could be some settings I made previously.

but everyone who is should make it a point to flag or report false news on FB. It affects algorithms and in this day and age, that's extremely important.

Please take 20 seconds to report any false news.

In fact, just did this about 10 min. ago. Someone who posts on one of the groups I'm in posted a link to lies posing as news about tangerine traitor tot so I unfollowed the person so I don't see their passive aggressive posts anymore and reported the link they shared as fake news. For awhile I was getting direct links to drumpf news on my feed and reported every one of them, so that's mostly stopped. Still have to block people/sites and report them as fake news at least several times a month.

I only use Facebook because there are some places that use it for commenting on their sites.
