(31,389 posts)November 2016. This country is full of ignorant, bigoted, misogynistic, greedy a$$holes. Many of them are friends, family, neighbors, and co workers. Just walking down the street, 4 out of every 10 people I pass support that traitorous sack of orange $hit.
It's mind boggling.

(7,632 posts)The people my age who still support that corrupt rapist and complete traitor after all that has been, (and will be) exposed; are hopeless.
My fondest wish is to see him and his enablers brought to Justice and this country turned around and headed in the right (Left) direction before I die. If it ever happens I hope we learn our lesson and make major changes to the way those in power are placed in that position.

(28,795 posts)his base is shrinking and was a minority to begin with. IF we get out the vote, we win.

(8,200 posts)I hope that there is more attention to what the younger generations will be facing if the Republican Party continues to control the presidency and the senate. My time is numbered and I am thankful for the fantastic life that was afforded to me primarily due to the leadership of FDR. The working class went from virtual servitude and abject poverty to a life they could not have imagined for the lowly working class. Not only did the Democrats under FDR improve the life of the workers, but even perhaps more importantly they provided the opportunity for the tens of thousands of GIs that had sacrificed so much for their nation the opportunity to actually get a fill the universities that had been the sacred reserve for the wealthy. This opened the iron clad door to millions of educated who soon were in control of the major industries of the nation. The GI Bill also provided those who desired to start a business with loans that had been denied the working class any chance for entrepreneurship. Remember this, that every program designed to assist the working class was strenuously opposed by the Republicans.

(28,795 posts)republicans will do anything to win. We need numbers. IF people vote, Democrats will win. I also wish that was not such a big if.

(756 posts)After the historic theatrical lying at the UN. Well, that wasn't so bad, but After Mission Acomplished. OMG who the fuck elected him After he did the worst possible job After Mission Acomplished.
I was so disgusted when they mocked John Kerry's purple heart.
The beginning of the end was a long time ago. We should've put Nixon in jail.
