Is peak trump behind us?

We are witness to him getting increasingly detached from reality as events and the subsequent spin that follows increase the absurdity of his tenure... A week in the Presidency is a whirlwind of complete bollocks, 90% of which is an act of self harm by Trump. He tweets and the dow swings 800 points (and not in a good way), he plays chicken in the trade war and is now having to walk it back. Everyone who is against him is a traitor. Living with such equal measures of paranoia and arrogance inside such a muddled mind must be knackering. He can't keep it up for much longer. Hopefully "peak Trump" is behind us.

PEAK TRUMP????

This week, Donald Trump ascribed to himself the roles of deity and the Chosen One, a first for an American president but definitely not for an emperor. Then, on Friday, he “ordered” US companies “to immediately start looking for an alternative to China”.

Hopefully it is all down hill from here to 2020... I do not see how much more absurd it can get?

I think you have the directions wrong.

Perhaps 'deepest trench' Trump?

Either way the answer is no.

ETA - he hasn't started a war yet which I fully expect to happen - or at least an attempt to start a war.

He can start being even more obvious in his fascist moves. He's already started this with his attempt to keep personal profits from immigrants flowing by having indefinite detentions. DeVos makes $750/per day per detainee and provides almost nothing for that cost and you know damn well drumpf is getting his cut or this wouldn't be his top initiative. All he really cares about is himself.
