"SNIP....
A new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll finds that despite Americans overall satisfaction with the state of the U.S. economy and their own personal finances a majority say they are angry at the nations political and financial establishment, anxious about its economic future, and pessimistic about the country theyre leaving for the next generation.
The poll finds that 70% of Americans say they feel angry because our political system seems to only be working for the insiders with money and power, like those on Wall Street or in Washington.

(118,696 posts)go to the rich. Elite means experts and educated washington policy experts. Most experts were fooled by trickle down. And tax cuts. Bit most of the blame goes to republicans and i hope these voters get that. Biden speaks to that on the stump.

(63,221 posts)Anyone who blames the nebulous group of "elites" instead of laying the blame squarely upon the Republicans is too stupid to vote. I am with you in that I hope Biden really hits that home. This was not the work of Democrats.
